Thanks for the link! It looks fabulous. I actually got teary-eyed when Peter yells out, "For Narnia and for Aslan!". Also, the wolves look amazing, and Tumnus is darling.

Yeah!

I adored Tumnus - 'well, I'm not going to smell it, if that's what you want!' HA! HA! Was that in the book (I only read LWW once for some odd reason. It's the only one that I never owned a copy.) Not that I mind if it's a new line for the movie.

Who's the (for want of a better name?) petals girl that Lucy was waving to at the end?

I think that's a new line for the movie, but I'd have to check the book. I've noticed from the various trailers/clips that there is a lot of dialogue that is not taken verbatim from the book (which is fine with me, so long as it fits in with the adaptation).

I think the petals girl is a dryad, but that's just a guess.

I don't care too much for dialogue. Each book looked like a lot to me as a kid but when you boil them down, they're rather short. I don't think they'd have as much a problem fitting things into the timeframe of a movie as they would have filling up the timeframe. So as long as the new dialogue and even new scenes, don't contradict with the original, I'm OK...

I think the petals girl is a dryad, but that's just a guess.

I thought as much but she seemed extra special... For what it's worth, I wish Father Christmas had been in the trailer... :(
