Here's what a very sweet and creative reviewer left for me on ff.net:

To bring Padmé to Vader : (cost) 1 bounty hunter
To wake Padmé from the bounty hunter sedative: (cost) 1 tortured Jedi apprentice
To spill to the Emperor that Vader has Padmé:(cost) 1 almost-choke-to-death acquiantance
To save Padmé from Vader's grasp:(cost) 1 Jedi
To order Vader to kill Padmé :(cost) 1 stupid emperor
To prove Padmé a point: (cost) an entire planet

All this effort and more, in the end Vader remain... loveless

On that happy note, thanks to my dear beta fialleril , I've updated the crazy story on fanfiction.net and TFN boards.

And well he should. I wouldn't exactly expect all those "efforts" to be very effective in winning someone's affections. *rolls eyes* 'Cause, you know, who wouldn't fall head over heels in love with a man who blew up a planet just to prove a point while chasing after you in an obsessive/sadistic rage?

Personally, I pity Asajj.

Totally random question: Where is/was (since Alderaan went kaboom in that particular shard) Bail Organa in this universe?

You're right, Vader hasn't done much by way of romantic gestures to win any sane woman's heart...

I'd be surprised if you didn't [pity Asajj]. As a friend said, there's a very sub sub-plot of her unrequited crush on Obi-Wan in the story. Sadly, it will never be now.

Understatement of the millennium. But then, he may be in luck. Because Kaleidoscope!Padmé is not exactly what you could describe as "any sane woman." ;)

Actually, I kind of got the impression from Obi-Wan's reaction to her death that it was maybe not so unrequited. -_^

Wow! That certainly happened without me even consciously planning it. *g* But I guess that's the tragedy, isn't it? Like Winama, Asajj is one more person he cared for without appreciating her until she was dead.

*sniffs* Poor Asajj can never get a break with Obi-Wan. In any universe...

We assure you that your icon had nothing to do with it. We are merely feeling generous today, that is all.

Cute review.
Which story was it for? Kaleidoscope?

Yep, it was.

(Sorry for the long delay in replying. I've had a long weekend away.)
