I think you mean Chapter 36, Pomegranate. Paradox was Chapter 35. ;)

God, I'm incurable. But that's why you love me, right? Right? *listens to silence*

Um. Well, anyway, I'm still thoroughly enjoying your choice of title for the latest chapter. ;)

*hugs*

Aw, thanks hun. :)

Hey, are you still up for betaing Anabasis? You know, if I can ever actually finish this chapter. >_< But I just wanted to make sure.

A new chapter?! ::punches fist in air:: Of course!

Well, um... It's not ready yet. *shamed face* But I'm really trying to get it done soon, and I wanted to be sure you were up for it before it was. Also I hoped that asking you might help me get in gear. ;)

Soon, my precious. Soon.

I was replying via screen-reader before and it's just now that I can see your icon. Orpheus and Eurydice. How appropriate! :D She descends into the literal Hell of Mustaphar to save him, but in the end, she cannot and she leaves him there.

I actually just uploaded that icon, so you weren't missing it before. ;)

Curiously, I was actually thinking of him as Orpheus and her as Eurydice, but now that you mention it, I like the fact that it can work either way. Kind of like the Hades and Persephone metaphor in Anabasis.

And then there's the story of Dionysus going to the underworld to rescue his dead mortal mother Semele and bring her to Olympos as a goddess. Which would work surprisingly well as a metaphor for Luke and Vader. LOL.

I love Greek mythology maybe a little too much.

So I still have good eyes :P. That certainly makes up for the incredible ear ache I am currently experiencing. ::sigh::

Oooh, I like that. And the story of Dionysus/Semele is pure Luke/Vader, no mistake.

P.S. This is a rather odd time for you to up and commenting.

Oh noes, an earache! *huggles you* I hope you feel better soon!

My sleep schedule has been pretty weird since I dropped veriond off at the airport at midnight last week, and then stayed up all night calling back and forth to make sure she'd gotten where she needed to be. (She had to switch airports, and there was no one around at night, and so forth. But everything worked out.) Anyway, I've been kind of nocturnal since then. I'm trying to get out of it, but it's difficult. ;)

*sniffles* Thank you. I hope so, too.

Oh dear. Sorry about the sleep disruption. I'm glad veriond got home, OK. Interconnecting flights can be so stressful.

Meh, it's okay, I'll get back to normal eventually. ;)

Yeah, she had some pretty crazy times hanging out in a Denny's most of the night and chatting with cops, but she got home safe and sound, and with some interesting stories to boot, so it all worked out. :)

YAH!

Re: insomnia. You coulld try writing late at night when it's quiet and you're far from sleepy. It really works for me.

LOL I should try that, in fact, since I signed up for a prompt at starwarsficfest that's due today. >_

I stayed up ridiculously late last night and finally got caught up with this story.

Suffice it to say: brilliant work, girl! :D And this latest chapter was so hot mesmerizing that I read it again.
