I totally agree. I had nothing against Kahlan crying, especially since it wasn't like she was like "Oh, Cara. I miss Richard." She wandered off while they were resting and had a moment to herself but Cara just happened along (probably curious why Kahlan was staring at the Sword).

And Kahlan and Cara might not be Sisters of the Agiel yet or anything, but they're getting along and Kahlan understands what Cara went through with her Mord'sith training. I think the problem is that the show doesn't show their similarities all that well; both Mord'Sith and Confessors are feared in D'Hara and the Midlands. That probably led to a lonely life, especially in the present day what with Cara's sisters abandoning her and Kahlan being the only Confessor still alive. They're not emotionless robots (well, Cara might've been...) so I don't see why they're not allowed to cry or laugh. o_o

Bridget has definitely played Kahlan waaaay tougher... at least emotionally... Richard is Kahlan's first love, and we all know how much of an emotional rollercoaster ride that is! Kahlan's so innocent... it's a wonder why she isn't more emo on the show. XD

Oh, good point! Most people seem to jump to the conclusion that Kahlan burst into tears or something in front of Cara, when it was more like Cara walking in on Kahlan's private moment. Rather than show a tough face, Kahlan went into Mother Confessor mode and used that moment to teach Kahlan about non-Mord-Sith feelings.

I really hope the show plays that up more because it's really one of the things I was looking forward to when I heard Cara was joining the group in Season 2.

LOL! Between the Seeker being her true but unattainable love and losing her sister (twice) and being the last Confessor and being abused as a child... it's a great wonder indeed!
