Is interjecting and hoping I haven't missed something similar to what I'm adding.

I just found this in Faith of the Fallen and it fits perfectly imo if you haven't read the book...then yeah

Kahlan knew that the Mord-Sith's emotions had to be as torn as her own, balancing on a knife's edge with despair and grief on one side and rage on the other. Mord-Sith were not used to being in such a position, but then, Cara was now more than simply Mord-Sith.

I actually loved Cara laughing. Maybe she wouldn't have been so open with him if he was new like that but also I think it shows that she is relaxing a bit (bad explanation sorry) Also he likes her and she likes him so I'm gonna let it slide, not that it even bothered me at all.

Kahlan crying; and in front of Cara. Um yeah I LOVED This too. Indeed in the books and the first one she cries a lot and again many times she cries in front of Cara, I think it's just showing their relationship forming as it should be.

You can really see both of these supposedly ooc character traits extremely well in FOTF actually. Kahlan is very open with her and Cara is very much hard Mord-Sith and in her way caring.

So not very good at explaining myself but for realz i LOVED both of these scenes hard and wasn't bothered at all! :D

I love the fact that the source material backs this up. In addition to this, I think it's a natural progression from what the show has given us so far. As said in your quote, Cara is now more than Mord-Sith. She hasn't been truly one since she: a, betrayed Lord Rahl; b, turned against her own sisters; and c, realized that the Mord Sith title that she was so proud of being "chosen" for was a horrible trick that made her kill her father.

Thanks for the comment!
