Kaleidoscope 24 and Cradle to Grave
I edited the old post because spoilers really should be f-list locked.

I started writing Kaleidoscope in the evening (after watching Reunion) but the muse ran off. It's odd because I had this really vivid idea for the next chapter. I actually played out the entire scene in my head, from the girls playing in the waterfall to the dance in the rain, and the lovemaking afterwards. That's the problem with thinking out a story too much - at least for me - by the time it comes to writing, I'm totally uninspired because I now know how it plays out.

For a lot of reasons, I'm thinking of changing my beta: not least because I feel that she's overworked a lot as she is, and it's really not fair to give her extra work no matter how much she rebuffs any suggestion of that…

::sigh:: Two chapters to go, right? And the last one was written months ago. It would need minimal tweaking. I want to wrap up round one of Kaleidoscope so I can immerse myself in other projects before NaNo comes knocking next month.

My NANO project is What Lies Beneath, my former Padmé AU fan fic now turned into an original story.

I just uploaded 4 weeks' worth of Cradle to Grave drabbles at tfn, and a week's worth at ff.net. The absolute dearth of reviews at tfn (well, not couting one dear friend r0ck3tsci3ntist whom I'm so grateful to) was made up by one reviewer leaving feedback for each chapter over at ff.net. That meant I opened my Inbox this morning I got 42 reviews for Cradle to Grave! At first, I was in shock and then pretty sure it was spam - maybe there was a problem with the bot email server and the same notice was sent several times. But nope. They were all different reviews on each chapter by the same person.

There's always a silver lining.

Ah, I hate it when that happens. You think out the whole story, and it's brilliant in your mind, but then you just can't make yourself write it down. *sighs* Happens to me all the time... There's one story I've been working on for over a year now, because of that. *sighs*

Well, I wish you luck with it! I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter! :D

"The absolute dearth of reviews at tfn "

Yeah - and I don't get it either... But that is SO cool about ff.net! :D

You're starting an origanal?!?! I HOPE you'll let me read it. I'll bet I know a couple of places you could post it!

Kaleidoscope blew my doors off today btw. ;) (if you couldn't tell)

It is, isn't it? I have to admit, tfn was making me a bit down in the mouth... what else is new? *g* But that really, really made up for it. *g*

I'll definitely let you read this, hon! You don't need to ask. You're the only one apart from marnie that I know writes original work.

Wah! NaNoWriMo! Me want so badly to do that! Sigh but it's totally the month before finals... Good luck with yours!

And I also must tell you that your new pm update reminder format is really cute. :)
