I really want to see The Fountain too... it looks just my brand of strange, fantastic romance. ^_^

3, Deep sea diving.
And see the sunlight coming down through the water!

Great minds think alike. *g*

Actually the Fountain reminds me of a certain book I read a long, long time ago. I can't remember the writer but her genre was sci-fi/fantasy. She wrote a book about a pair of star-crossed lovers who kept meeting each other in different incarnations. The first was the man murdering the woman, the second the woman murdering the man, the third were both dying for love, etc. etc.

I love 'love across time' stories.

What are they about? I'm in the mood for a good movie.

Children of Men (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808715896/hmg) is set in the future. Mankind is dying out because babies are no longer being born; women are no longer getting pregnant. In the trailer I watched, there was a news broadcast that the youngest human being alive (an 18 year old boy) had just died.

Then a politician, played by Clive Owen, is called in by an old flame to protect the most important person in the world - a pregnant woman.

The Fountain (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808422624/hmg) is a 'love across time' story. Copy-pasting from Yahoo! movie guide: "500 years ago, explorer Tomas Creo (Hugh Jackman) is charged by Queen Isabel (Rachel Weisz) to explore South America and find the Tree of Life, whose sap can bestow eternal life. In the modern day, Tom (also Jackman) desperately searches for a cancer cure for his wife (also Weisz). And 500 years from now, an astronaut (Guess who?) looks for the secret of life itself."

I agree that both of your movie choices looking interesting, but not exactly interesting enough that I'll rush out to see them.

I hope you'll be wearing a parachute when you jump from a plane. :p

I've been snorkeling in Hawaii, which is about as close to deep sea diving as I'm probably going to get.

I won't be able to rush out and see them either since there's no movie theatre in my own vicinity and the closest one usually releases months after international dates. *g*

Hmm... For some reason, jumping from a plane sounds ridiculously appealing. :D
