Dearth of reviews

Well, yes, we should all write for ourselves and not for others. And a true writer doesn't get inspiration from feedback... But... if that were the case would there really be a reason for posting up a story on the .Net so that others can read and review?

Forgive my glumness. My new spider-man fic has got a total of 3 reviews - one here and two on since I put it up this week. But according to the stats counter on, it has been hit 52 times. Now some of those hits were probably random clicks that the clicker (:p) just scanned the first few paragraphs, laughed hysterically and closed the windows. Probably more than some. Who knows? Even it's crap, at least say why by dropping a review!
